Hey team,
My profile has just been longlisted for a post in Western sahara. Hoping to secure an interview. As a former UNV this is the 3rd longlisting. The previous two i was not able to secure an interview. Hoping for the best!
Hey Papa,

So happy to hear that!

Fingers crossed and keep us updated!

I am former UNV too and have been longlisted six times but with no luck until now. Really hope for a positive outcome for you!

Yesterday I got an email stating that the panel has recommended me for the UNV assignment I applied for and for which I had an interview with UNICEF.

They say I shouldn't resign from your current employment at this point as my effective selection is subject to obtaining medical clearance and receipt of necessary documentary evidence regarding my qualifications.
I've uploaded the required documents and a tentative date of travel/start.

I've started the onboarding but I have not yet received the letter of appointment.
Can anyone tell me how much time can this take before hearing from them?

Thank you

UNV office would send it to you with other necessary documents including the Medical form for obtaining a medical clearance. That's when the real onboarding starts.
