Does this tax exemption status apply to employees on individual contractor agreements?
NO - ICAs are contracted to do a job as contractors not employee of UN Sec.

Hello all,

New member just come across this very informative forum😀

So per my understanding International ICAs aren't employees and therefore aren't entitled to salaries free of income tax.
Employee sign employment agreement and are entitled to get paid in the form of a salary - Contractors gets contract payment not salary. Indeed the forum is informative but these days it more looks like a facebook sister portal then UN Job forum.
