I'm about to start a 3 months consultancy with IOM.
I have always been working on regular employee contracts with NGOs until now.
I haven't received the contract yet (only the confirmation and salary) but I was wondering if this will be considered as an employee contract or if I need to be registered in my home-country as an actual consultant?
I know that I need to get my own medical insurance but I don't think it's a "real" consultancy as i didn't have to give any offer or anything, the recruitment process has been very classic.
I also don't know if I need to take care myself of my flight tickets or my accommodation.
Has anyone been in a similar situation? Would be really helpful.
Thanks a lot!
