Don't worry too much about the status, I have a recent experience when my application status is still under applied, vacancy status under review and I already received an email informing me to be shortlisted and had a written test. Sometimes it is not updated. I think they will update it eventually, once the recruitment is completed.

Which makes me wonder why to have status information if it is not used appropriately.

A few months ago I applied for a UNDP P3 position. I did not get the job eventually (I was among the last two candidates). But I applied just afterwards for the same job at P4 grade, and I am invited for an interview next week ! The good thing is that I don't have to take the written exam again.

I recently applied for an Emergency Roster program within UNHCR with the support of my unit, and a few days ago received an email urgently requesting for my updated CV and past 2 performance reviews. I assume that's a good sign, and keeping positive.

Hi @starryhindsight ! Have you got any update? My colleague also signed up for that roster and immediately got a response. It was quick and when she got the offer, she resigned from her UNV post.

As far as I understood, I should stay with UNV to be on the emergency roster, so perhaps we are talking about a different kind of roster?

Does anyone know anything about Individual Service Provider contracts with UNRWA?
