Post-reference
Post-reference
Applied for the new Resident Coordination Economist with the UNDP in April 2019, shortlisted for a written test in June 2019, invited for a Skype interview in July, my docs verified in July including performance reviews, asked to provide references, all 3 were contacted and sent back the forms.
It has been two weeks since the references were recieved. In your experience what do you advise, the wait time is killing me?
I appreciate your responses!

Hello
Did you apply for the Roster Resident Coordination?
Or it was for a specific duty station?
I know that they had many vacancies( P4 and P5) for Resident Coordinator Programme.
Thanks!

Re: Post-reference
Hello Anne,
I did the Roster for the Resident Coordination P4-P5. I did the verbal reasoning test but I have not heard from them, might you have any news about it?
Hello Aha,
My experience with UNDP is that they do reference checks for the best 3 candidates that they have interviewed for a post. These reference checks are very intense they send letters to your former universities. Now if these guys are asking for the references it means that you might be one of the best 3 candidates and not necessarily the best candidate, so just be patient they will get back to you. I know the suspense and the anxiety is at its peak now. I have been in similar situations not the best.

AHA, thank you for your answer!
Shabazz, I am still waiting an answer for my Roster Application. I did only the verbal reasoning P5.
In addition of Roster, I applied in June, July and August, for some specific duty stations for Resident Coordination ( P4 and P5 ), but I didn't receive any feedback until now.

I am in the same situation too. I applied for a UNDP P3 position for a specific duty station in June, passed the written test in July, had a skype interview two weeks later. They told me I would have a response (even if I am not chosen) at the end of July but as mid of August I am still waiting... My references told me they were contacted at the end of July. I suppose the post-reference check is taking some time...
